Infiniti G35 Coupe Rear Window Spoiler

Most rear window spoilers for the G35 Coupe don’t look right. The roof curves as it falls to the glass, and a flat spoiler can’t follow it. It either sits low and fights the body lines or leaves gaps along the roof.

We designed ours around that curve. The spoiler has a slight upward bend, so the roofline flows into it and lifts at the edge instead of dropping flat. It looks like part of the car, not something added later.

How it’s made

• 3D-printed core: precise shape and a consistent fit on every unit.
• Plastic-welded seams: the sections are welded together for strength.
• Body-filler finished, then primed: surfaced by hand and shipped in primer, ready for your paint shop.

Before you paint

Each spoiler ships unpainted, in primer. Plan on a small amount of prep before paint. A light scuff, plus filler or glaze on any small imperfections in the primer, is all your painter should need. You can then match it to your car or go with a contrasting color.

Installation

The spoiler mounts with double-sided tape, so there’s no drilling. For a bond that holds, we recommend:

1. Clean both surfaces. Wipe the mounting area on the car and the underside of the spoiler with isopropyl alcohol and let them dry.
2. Apply 3M adhesion promoter. Wipe it onto both surfaces where the tape will go. It makes the tape grip much harder than it does on bare paint.
3. Use 3M VHB foam tape. VHB is the same kind of tape carmakers use to attach trim. Apply it to the spoiler, test-fit it, then press it firmly into place.
4. Let it cure. VHB tape takes time to build full strength, so give it at least 24 hours before a car wash or highway driving.

Install in warm weather or a heated garage if you can. The tape bonds best above about 60°F.
