The roof curves as it falls to the glass, and a flat spoiler can’t follow it. It either sits low and fights the body lines or leaves gaps along the roof.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eWe designed ours around that curve. The spoiler has a slight upward bend, so the roofline flows into it and lifts at the edge instead of dropping flat. It looks like part of the car, not something added later.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow it’s made\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003e3D-printed core:\u003c\/strong\u003e precise shape and a consistent fit on every unit.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003ePlastic-welded seams:\u003c\/strong\u003e the sections are welded together for strength.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eBody-filler finished, then primed:\u003c\/strong\u003e surfaced by hand and shipped in primer, ready for your paint shop.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBefore you paint\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eEach spoiler ships unpainted, in primer. Plan on a small amount of prep before paint. A light scuff, plus filler or glaze on any small imperfections in the primer, is all your painter should need. You can then match it to your car or go with a contrasting color.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eInstallation\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe spoiler mounts with double-sided tape, so there’s no drilling. For a bond that holds, we recommend:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col dir=\"ltr\" start=\"1\"\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eClean both surfaces.\u003c\/strong\u003e Wipe the mounting area on the car and the underside of the spoiler with isopropyl alcohol and let them dry.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eApply 3M adhesion promoter.\u003c\/strong\u003e Wipe it onto both surfaces where the tape will go. It makes the tape grip much harder than it does on bare paint.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eUse 3M VHB foam tape.\u003c\/strong\u003e VHB is the same kind of tape carmakers use to attach trim. Apply it to the spoiler, test-fit it, then press it firmly into place.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eLet it cure.\u003c\/strong\u003e VHB tape takes time to build full strength, so give it at least 24 hours before a car wash or highway driving.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eInstall in warm weather or a heated garage if you can.
